These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use ofimgtojxl.com (the “Service”), operated byWebwise Private Company Ltd, a United States company (“Webwise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

imgtojxl.com provides a browser-based tool for converting and inspecting images in JPEG XL (JXL) and related formats. Processing is performed locally on your device using WebAssembly and related browser technologies. We do not host a server-side conversion pipeline for your image files.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service;
• Attempt denial-of-service attacks or interfere with other users’ access;
• Use the Service to process illegal, malicious, exploitative, or otherwise unlawful content;
• Convert or distribute copyrighted material unless you own the rights or have permission to do so;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, compromise, or misuse the site infrastructure.

We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Your content: You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all images you convert or process with the Service. Because files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers, we claim no ownership, license, or residual rights in your images.

Our content: The Service’s branding, UI, documentation, and software (excluding your images and third-party open components used under their licenses) are owned by Webwise or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

4. “As-Is” Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that conversions will be error-free, that output quality will meet your expectations, or that the Service will operate uninterrupted on every device. Extremely large or high-resolution files may exceed your local hardware or browser memory limits and may cause slowdowns, failed conversions, or browser crashes. You are solely responsible for keeping backups of important files.
